The second single to be taken from Mr Scruffs critically acclaimed long player, Sweetsmoke, kicks off with Scruffs own version of filtered disco-funk thatll warm the cockles of your heart and leave your feet smouldering too. Horn riffs, synth stabs and a killer break make this track a true and pure dance floor filler. An authentic throwback to the future, Scruff style.

The result of 4 days together in the cellar of Mr Scruff’s house is the long awaited Mr Scruff vs Quantic Its Dancing Time. A Ghanian funk workout gradually slips into cheeky uptempo house to create a joyous party jam with a wicked break, too-damn funky bass, and gorgeous, oh-so-funky-guitar.

Also continuing in his own tradition Mr Scruff has drawn and directed an animated video for Sweetsmoke, produced in collaboration with Cosgrove Hall the makers of Danger Mouse. A hilarious tale of pies and rotund superheroes, look out for it.
